Each member of the CRS team has at least 20 years of experience in their respective fields, ranging from regulatory and financial risk to crisis management and human intelligence. Each has worked for some of the most respected and best known private and public sector organizations in the world.
Daniel Wagner has brokered and underwritten political risk insurance and analyzed country risk for hundreds of debt and equity cross-border trade and investment transactions in the energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining and telecommunications sectors for transaction sizes ranging from $1 million to $2.5 billion.
Among the projects he has underwritten are the Lihir gold mine in Papua New Guinea, the Paiton power project in Indonesia, and the Roshan cellular network in Afghanistan.
He has traveled in more than 80 countries in 6 continents around the globe. Daniel has conducted on-the-ground due diligence investigations in dozens of countries, including Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kuwait, Laos, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, Panama, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.
Daniel has been an expert witness in several high profile cross-border investment disputes and has trained the staff of China's EXIM Bank and Sinosure in country risk analysis.
